“Victorian Shade Gardening and
the Modern Landscape”
Richie Steffen is the curator for the Elisabeth C. Miller Botanical Garden where he manages the rare plant collections and heads acquisition of new plants for the garden.
Richie will speak about the abundant plant material in gardens of the Victorian era, and show that the plants available today rival those riches. You'll see some of these plant treasures from around the world, and learn about old Victorian shade gardens and practices that are making a come back in our modern gardens.
See the CALENDAR OF EVENTS page for information about meeting time and place.
