for a presentation by
Bleddyn and Sue Wynn-Jones
"Plant Hunting in Vietnam"
Crug Farm in Wales, UK began as a beef farm but its owners transitioned to a nursery in 1991. Since that time Bleddyn and Sue Wynn-Jones have been on a mission to collect the most extraordinary, exotic plants from the far corners of the globe, always in search of plants and rare seeds. Going for several months at a time, their travels have taken them to Vietnam, Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Nepal, India and beyond. The Farm is a place for the adventurous gardener who is eager to try something new, sometimes wacky and most often on the cutting edge of horticulture.
This lecture “Plant Hunting in Vietnam” covers some of the many collections they’ve gathered after visiting this country seven times. These interesting and hardy plants are trialed and propagated in their nursery in North Wales and they say we can grow them in the Pacific Northwest!
