The Study Weekend rotates annually among Victoria/Vancouver, Seattle, Portland and Eugene. The 2008 Study Weekend “Breaking The Rules” will be held in Eugene, June 20-22, 2008. Featured speakers include Helen Dillon, Bleddyn Wynn-Jones, Linda Buetler and Whitey Lueck. Allan Mandell will conduct a seminar on "Seeing".

All gardens that are on the bus tour are open for self tour as well and also many of the Friday gardens will be open on Sunday.

The Hardy Plant Group is holding a number of rooms in the Eugene area for the Study Weekend. Those holds expired March 31, 2008. You may continue to contact any of the listed hotels to check for openings. We do know that the following will continue to have some room availability. Hotels/Motels for Study Weekend "Breaking the Rules" in Eugene June 20-22, 2008 Just following the Hardy Plant Study Weekend, the Olympic Track and Field Trials will be held in Eugene and at the same time The Oregon Bach Festival will also be under way. Because of all this activity a number of hotels are already booked starting mid June. We are listing a number of hotels/motels in the Eugene area that we have contacted. They are holding blocks of rooms and we recommend that you make a reservation as soon as you are able. These rooms are being held until March 31, 2008.
